1. Project overview and legal information
Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park was officially approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the planning for the development of industrial parks in Bac Giang province according to Official Dispatch No. 216/TTg-CN dated February 23, 2021. The project has an expected planning scale of about 300 hectares, located in Yen Son and Bac Lung communes, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.
Following that, on July 16, 2021, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province issued Decision No. 712/QD-UBND approving the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan for Yen Son – Bac Lung industrial park with a total area of 309.8 hectares. Of which, the area for industrial park development is about 300 hectares, the remaining 9.16 hectares is the connecting road from Provincial Road 293 to the industrial park.
The project is invested by Foxconn Group (FuGiang Co., Ltd.), expected to become a highlight in attracting foreign investment, especially in the field of high technology and electronics manufacturing.

Yen Son – Bac Lung Industrial Park is a newly established project, planned with the orientation of developing into a high-tech, environmentally friendly industrial park. In the future, the entire technical infrastructure will be invested synchronously and modernly to meet the needs of production and sustainable development. Specifically:
- Internal traffic system: The main road is designed with a road width of 51m, including a 2x15m wide roadbed, a 2x8m sidewalk and a 5m central median strip. The remaining internal roads have a road width ranging from 24m to 51m, ensuring convenient and safe traffic.
- Power supply system: Power is supplied from the 22kV medium voltage grid through a 110kV transformer station managed by Bac Giang Electricity Company. The power supply capacity of phase 1 is 63 MVA, the total capacity of the whole area (including the reserve for phase 2) is about 157 MVA, ensuring enough capacity to serve all production needs.
- Water supply system: Clean water is supplied from a separate water supply plant for the industrial park, with a design capacity of 24,600 m³/day and night. The water supply pipe network is installed along internal roads, integrated with stop valves for convenient operation and maintenance.
- Drainage system: Includes two separate systems for rainwater and wastewater. Rainwater collection wells are arranged at a distance of 30m, combined with manholes and collection pits on the sidewalk built with bricks and covered with sturdy reinforced concrete panels.
- Wastewater treatment system: Domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater are pre-treated at each factory before being led into the general wastewater drainage system, then brought to the central treatment station located in the technical infrastructure area. All wastewater will be treated to Class A standards before being discharged into the stormwater drainage system outside the area.
- Telecommunications system: Modern telecommunications infrastructure, meeting the needs of seamless domestic and international connections, ready to support businesses in the digital age.
- Other supporting facilities: The industrial park is planned synchronously with items serving the lives of workers such as worker housing, entertainment and shopping areas, etc. to provide a quality living and working environment, contributing to retaining human resources for a long time.
