The VSIP 3 Binh Duong Industrial Park has been approved for phased development. Specifically, Phase 1 received approval for a detailed 1/500 scale plan under Decision No. 1427/QD-UBND dated June 15, 2022, of the Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, covering an area of approximately 196.45 hectares.
Subsequently, Phase 2 of the project received approval for a 1/2000 scale zoning plan under Decision No. 1892/QD-UBND dated July 21, 2023, expanding the area by approximately 803.55 hectares. Upon completion, the industrial park is expected to accommodate between 33,000 and 35,000 workers.

The project focuses on attracting high-tech industries, aiming for a green economy model, minimizing environmental impact, and prioritizing labor-intensive sectors in the context of increasingly scarce human resources. The industrial park’s operating period extends until January 3, 2067.

Internal Transportation System:
- Roads No. 1, No. 7, and D6 have a road width of 12m; sidewalks on the factory side are 8m wide, and on the green area side are 2m wide; the road width is 22m. Road D6 has 8m wide sidewalks on both sides and a road width of 28m.
- Roads D1, D2, D5, No. 2, 3, 5, and 6 have a road width of 15m, sidewalks on each side are 8m wide, and the road width is 31m.

Power Supply System:
- Electricity is supplied from the 200kV Bac Tan Uyen, 220kV Uyen Hung, and 220kV Binh My substations via 110kV lines.
- By 2050, three 110kV substations with a capacity of 2x80MVA are planned to serve the entire area.
- Construction of 110/22kV substations and a 110kV transmission line system through the industrial park is planned.
- Electricity is distributed to each area via 22kV lines.
- Notably, the industrial park will also develop a 50-hectare solar power farm, providing on-site energy for large factories and contributing to environmental protection.
Clean water supply system:
- Water is supplied from the D600 pipeline of the Nam Tan Uyen water treatment plant (capacity 70,000 m³/day) and the Uyen Hung water treatment plant (capacity 40,000 m³/day).

As of May 2025, the industrial park has recorded 8 licensed projects with a total investment exceeding US$1.6 billion.
Some notable projects include:
- The world’s first carbon neutral factory by LEGO Group, with a total investment of US$1.3 billion and an area of 44 hectares. The project utilizes entirely solar energy and is expected to create jobs for over 4,000 workers when operational.
- The US$150 million Pandora Production Vietnam factory of the Danish jewelry brand Pandora. Scheduled to be operational in 2026, the factory will have a capacity of approximately 60 million products per year and create jobs for more than 7,000 workers.
- The factory is owned by Giant Group (Taiwan) with a total investment of approximately US$120 million.
