2. Geographical location of Hoa Cam Industrial Park

Hoa Cam Industrial Park is considered to have one of the most advantageous locations among the five industrial parks in Da Nang. The project is situated in the southwestern part of the city, adjacent to National Highway 14B – a crucial transportation route within the East-West economic corridor. Notably, the Lien Chieu – Dung Quat expressway, with its 60m wide cross-section, runs through the industrial park, enhancing connectivity and goods transportation.

Transportation Connections:

  • Approximately 1 km from National Highway 1A (33m wide)
  • Approximately 1 km from the North-South bypass road through Da Nang City
  • Approximately 5 km from Da Nang Airport
  • Approximately 5 km from Da Nang Central Bus Station
  • Approximately 7 km from Lien Chieu Port
  • Approximately 7 km from Da Nang Railway Station
  • Approximately 8 km from Da Nang City Center
  • Approximately 8 km from Han River Port
  • Approximately 18 km from Tien Sa Port

Besides its transportation advantages, Hoa Cam Industrial Park also has a relatively high elevation, ranging from 11–32 m above sea level. Thanks to its good drainage capacity, this industrial park is virtually free from flooding during the rainy season.

The planned location of Hoa Cam Industrial Park Phase 2 is defined by the green area.

3. Infrastructure system of Hoa Cam Industrial Park

Hoa Cam Industrial Park Planning

  • At Hoa Cam Industrial Park Phase 1, the entire technical infrastructure system, including electricity, water supply, transportation, and communication, has been fully invested in and is ready to meet the needs of investors.
  • Internal Transportation:
The industrial park is connected to the external transportation system through 4 entrances in 4 directions, facilitating travel and goods transportation. The main transportation network consists of 3 major roads connecting from National Highway 14B to the center, dividing the area into 4 sub-zones. The main arterial roads have 3 lanes, a road surface width of 11.25m, sidewalks of 6m on each side, and a total road width of 23.25m. Internal roads have 2 lanes, sidewalks of 4.5m on each side, and a road width of 16.5m. The entire system is planned in a grid pattern, with intersections spaced approximately 300-400m apart, optimizing the potential for land utilization on both sides of the roads.
  • Landscape – Greenery:
Green spaces are arranged along roads, sidewalks, and buffer zones to create a well-ventilated working environment, minimize pollution, and improve environmental quality. In addition, businesses within the industrial park proactively plan their own green areas within the factory grounds in accordance with regulations.
  • Electricity Supply System:
Electricity is supplied from the Cau Do transformer substation (110/35/22kV, 2×25 MVA capacity), through a 22kV (double circuit) network leading to 22/0.4kV step-down substations at each factory. Businesses only need to invest in the electrical system from the step-down substation to the production equipment and internal lighting.
  • Water Supply System:
Clean water is supplied from the Cau Do Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of 210,000 m³/day, via a Ø200 pipeline running along National Highway 14B. The water supply system is installed to each meter at every enterprise, ensuring sufficient water to meet production and living needs.
  • Wastewater treatment system:
Wastewater from each factory must undergo preliminary treatment to meet standards before being discharged into the industrial park’s common system. Subsequently, the wastewater is further treated at a centralized treatment plant with a capacity of 4,000 m³/day, ensuring compliance with TCVN 5945-2005 standards before being released into the environment.
  • Telecommunications system:
The telecommunications infrastructure is modern and meets international standards with equipment such as MDF, telephone systems, and high-speed internet, fully meeting the connectivity and data transmission needs of businesses.
  • Other amenities:
The central area of the industrial park is planned to have branches of many major banks in Da Nang, facilitating financial transactions for businesses and providing a variety of high-quality and fast services.
