1. Project overview and legal information
The Tra Da Industrial Park is considered the largest industrial park in Gia Lai province, playing a crucial role in the local industrial development strategy. On November 14, 2003, the Government issued document No. 1590/CP-CN approving the establishment of this industrial park and delegating authority to the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee to approve the investment project. Subsequently, the infrastructure construction project for the Tra Da Industrial Park was officially approved by the Provincial People’s Committee under Decision No. 1493/QD-CT dated December 25, 2003.
The Tra Da Industrial Park is also included in the overall plan for the development of industrial parks nationwide according to Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006, of the Prime Minister. Located in Pleiku City, the project covers a total area of approximately 213 hectares and has already attracted nearly 50 domestic and foreign businesses, achieving a 100% occupancy rate and creating jobs for thousands of workers.

Investment Attractions:
The industrial park is oriented towards multi-sector development, including agricultural and forestry product processing, biofuel production, food and consumer goods processing, animal feed production, chemical industry, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, and other industries with minimal environmental pollution.
Priority areas include: agricultural and forestry product processing; The industrial park will include the production of building materials; mechanical and electronic engineering; and consumer goods. In addition, other industries, if aligned with the development orientation and encouraged by the State, may also be considered for investment.
The establishment of the Tra Da Industrial Park, along with its supporting service system, has contributed to promoting socio-economic development for Pleiku city and the entire Gia Lai province, creating more job opportunities, increasing people’s income, and serving as a foundation for industrialization, modernization, and improving the investment environment in the region.

As of 2023, Tra Da Industrial Park had attracted 63 investment projects with a total registered capital of approximately VND 3,590 billion. Of this, VND 2,623 billion, equivalent to about 73% of the total registered capital, had been actually implemented. Currently, the industrial park provides employment for approximately 1,900 workers, with an average income of about VND 6.3 million per person per month.

4. Infrastructure System
Tra Da Industrial Park is built with a synchronous and modern technical infrastructure system to meet the operational needs of investing businesses.
- Internal transportation:
The road system within the industrial park is rationally planned, with a main axis 15 m wide and internal roads 7.5 m wide, ensuring the ability to transport vehicles with a load capacity of up to 30 tons. - Electricity system:
Electricity is supplied from the national power grid, ensuring stability and continuity for production activities. - Water supply system:
The clean water source has an extraction capacity of approximately 2,678.4 m³/day, fully meeting the needs of businesses in the park. - Wastewater treatment system:
Wastewater is treated to meet the standards of QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT (column B) before being discharged into the environment. The industrial park has invested in a wastewater treatment plant with a designed capacity of 2,000 m³/day, ensuring compliance with environmental protection requirements.
