Below is an overview of Tho Loc Industrial Park as presented by AVA Consulting:
Tho Loc Industrial Park was established according to Decision No. 7023/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2009, of the People’s Committee of Nghe An province approving the detailed construction plan. In the context of increasingly limited industrial land in many localities, Nghe An, with its advantage of ample land and reasonable investment costs, has become an attractive destination, contributing to attracting many investors to this industrial park. Thanks to the province’s preferential policies, Tho Loc Industrial Park has quickly received attention from many businesses with domestic and foreign projects.
The detailed plan for Tho Loc Industrial Park was further adjusted and supplemented according to Decision No. 1231/QD-UBND dated April 18, 2012. The industrial zone is located in the communes of Dien Tho, Dien Loc, Dien Phu, Dien Loi, Dien Tan, Dien Thinh, and Dien An (Dien Chau district, Nghe An province), with a total area of 1,159.71 hectares, divided into three sub-zones A, B, and C. This is also an important part of the development plan for the Southeast Economic Zone of Nghe An province.
- Zone A: Covering 783.21 hectares, located in the communes of Dien Tho, Dien Loc, Dien Phu, and Dien Loi.
- Zone B: Covering 217.5 hectares, located west of the Southeast Economic Zone, in the communes of Dien Phu and Dien Loc.
- Zone C: Covering 158.75 hectares, located east of the Southeast Economic Zone, in the communes of Dien Tan, Dien Loc, Dien Thinh, and Dien An.
Tho Loc Industrial Park is oriented towards development as a multi-sector integrated industrial park, focusing on areas such as mechanical engineering and parts manufacturing, precision mechanical equipment, digital technology assembly, agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product processing, as well as consumer goods production such as textiles, footwear, electronics, refrigeration, and high-quality electrical equipment.
To date, the industrial park has seen several projects become operational, most notably the export packaging factory of ECO International Packaging Joint Stock Company with a total investment of approximately 100 billion VND, creating jobs for nearly 500 local workers.
