Tam Thang Industrial Park is one of the industrial parks within the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, included in the master plan approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 43/2004/QD-TTg dated March 23, 2004, and also approved by the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Quang Nam province. This industrial park has a detailed plan with a total area of 197.1 hectares.

The industrial park focuses on attracting industries such as textiles and supporting industries; Manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment and components; machinery manufacturing; high technology; production of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and medicinal materials; and plastic products. - Labor Resources:
Quang Nam province has approximately 820,400 people of working age, accounting for 54% of the population, of which the rate of trained labor reaches about 26.6%. The average income of workers ranges from 5 to 7 million VND/month. - As of December 31, 2022, Tam Thang Industrial Park had attracted 23 investment projects, including 19 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 540 million USD (approximately 500 million USD implemented) and 4 domestic projects with a total registered capital of 338.6 billion VND (approximately 270 billion VND implemented).
2. Costs and incentives for leasing land in Tam Thang Industrial Park
– Infrastructure management and maintenance fee: approximately US$0.25/m²/year (excluding VAT).
– Electricity price: applied according to the price list published by Quang Nam Provincial Electricity Company at the time of use.
– Water price: calculated according to the price announcement of the corresponding water supply unit at the time of use.
– Telephone, Internet, and other related service costs: applied according to the regulations of the respective providers at the time of use.
When investing in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park and Tam Thang Industrial Park, investors have the full right to choose the project implementation form, regardless of whether it is domestic or foreign, and simultaneously enjoy the highest preferential policies under the mechanism of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.
- Regarding corporate income tax: A preferential tax rate of 10% is applied for a period of 15 years; tax exemption for the first 4 years from the date taxable income is generated and a 50% reduction in the tax payable for the following 9 years.
- Regarding import taxes: Imported goods used to create fixed assets are exempt from import tax. Additionally, for the first five years, raw materials, supplies, and semi-finished components that cannot be produced domestically are also exempt from import tax when imported for production.
- Other support: Besides tax incentives, investors are also entitled to favorable land lease policies, support for the construction of housing for workers, and vocational training support depending on the project scale, as regulated by the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee and the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board.
3. Geographical location of Tam Thang Industrial Park
Tam Thang Industrial Park is located in the eastern part of Tam Ky City – the administrative center of Quang Nam province, adjacent to the main North Tam Ky road and the Nguyen Van Troi inner-city road, facilitating convenient transportation connections.

Tam Thang Industrial Park is part of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone – a strategically located area in Central Vietnam, serving as a crossroads between the North and South. With its proximity to the sea and ample land, the industrial park enjoys favorable conditions for connecting with domestic and international destinations via various transportation routes such as National Highway 1A, the coastal road, the North-South railway, Ky Ha seaport, Chu Lai airport, and the Da Nang-Quang Ngai expressway.

4. Infrastructure System
Factories in the Tam Thang Industrial Park are built on a comprehensive technical infrastructure, with essential services such as electricity, water, and telecommunications provided right to the boundary of each plot, effectively meeting the production needs of businesses.
- Internal transportation: The internal road system is rationally planned, ensuring convenient connections between functional areas and each factory within the industrial park.
- Electricity supply system: Electricity is supplied from the national grid through the 110kV Tam Thang substation, ensuring stable power supply. In addition, a 35kV power line has been extended to the Tam Thang commune area, about 800m from the industrial park.
- Water supply system: Clean water is sourced from the Tam Ky Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of approximately 35,000 m³/day, fully meeting the needs of investors.
- Wastewater treatment system: All wastewater generated from businesses must be collected, connected to the industrial park’s centralized wastewater treatment system, and treated to meet standards before being discharged into the environment.
