Sa Dec Industrial Park is the first industrial park established in Dong Thap province, with a plan comprising three separate sub-zones and a total area of ​​approximately 132 hectares. Initially, the project was invested in by Dong Thap Materials and Import-Export Company. On May 22, 2000, according to Decision No. 489/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the investor was transferred to Dong Thap Housing Investment and Development Company, currently Dong Thap Housing and Industrial Park Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (HIDICO).

The three sub-zones of Sa Dec Industrial Park include:

  • Zone A1: Area of ​​39.73 hectares, of which 28.45 hectares are industrial land for lease; operating period from 2002 to 2052; located in An Hoa ward, Sa Dec city; Established by Decision No. 713/TTg-KTN dated August 30, 1997, of the Prime Minister.
  • Zone C: Scale of 30.32 hectares, leased area of ​​22.65 hectares; operating period from 2001 to 2051; located in Tan Quy Dong ward, Sa Dec city; established by Decision No. 699/QD-TTg dated August 10, 1998.
  • Zone C Expansion: Area of ​​61.98 hectares, leased land reaching 51.83 hectares; operating from 2004 to 2054; located in Tan Khanh Dong commune, Sa Dec city; approved by Decision No. 964/QD-UBND.HC dated July 6, 2006, of the People’s Committee of Dong Thap province.

Electricity Supply System:
A 22KV medium-voltage power supply is provided from the 110KV Sa Dec substation, exclusively serving the industrial park. In addition, there are four 12.7/0.22KV transformer substations with a capacity of 15KVA.

Water Supply System:

  • Zone C: Water supply capacity of 10,000 m³/day, managed by Dong Thap Urban Water Supply and Environment Joint Stock Company (South Tien River Branch).
  • Zone C Expansion: Water treatment plant operated by BFIW Investment Joint Stock Company, capacity of 4,500 m³/day.

Consists of two separate systems: rainwater drainage and industrial wastewater drainage.
