1. Project overview and legal information

Protrade International Industrial Park (also known as An Tay Industrial Park or Singapore Ascendas Protrade Industrial Park) was initially granted Investment Certificate No. 3700856169 on October 29, 2007, by the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong Province, and has been amended for the 11th time on December 23, 2016. The detailed planning of the industrial park was approved by Decision No. 4573/QD-UBND dated October 23, 2007, and subsequently amended by Decision No. 2929/QD-UBND of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province.

The project covers an area of ​​500 hectares (of which industrial land accounts for approximately 384.487 hectares), part of the 1,350-hectare An Tay industrial and service complex in Ben Cat town. Protrade International Industrial Park (PITP) has a total investment of over VND 2,424.75 billion and is being implemented in 6 phases.

2. Investment costs and incentives

  • Electricity price (voltage from 6kV – 22kV): approximately 1,685 VND/kWh during normal hours and 3,076 VND/kWh during peak hours.
  • Wastewater treatment fee: approximately 8,400 VND/m³, with wastewater flow calculated as 80% of total monthly water consumption.

Businesses investing in the Protrade International Industrial Park are entitled to many preferential policies as stipulated by current State regulations, specifically:

  • Corporate Income Tax (CIT): Exempt for the first two years and a 50% reduction in tax payable for the following four years.
  • Import Tax: Applied according to legal regulations, which may include tax exemptions for imported goods used for processing for foreign partners, raw materials, supplies, and semi-finished products not produced domestically, as well as machinery and equipment imported to form fixed assets.
