The industrial park is oriented towards attracting diverse industries such as: mechanical engineering; electrical and electronics; building materials production; wood processing; rubber and plastics; handicrafts; textiles; consumer goods and exports; and clean industries. In addition, there are sectors such as glass manufacturing, mechanical engineering and refrigeration, agricultural, forestry and aquatic product processing, motor vehicle assembly, electronic and microelectronic component manufacturing, household and luxury goods, medical and educational products, furniture, metallurgy and mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery manufacturing, engines, transformers and automotive and motorcycle parts. - Construction Regulations:
Factory and warehouse buildings are planned with a maximum height of under 45m, and a building density ranging from 40% to 70%. The percentage of green space within each enterprise’s premises must be at least 20%, while increasing green space and limiting concrete construction are encouraged. The industrial park prioritizes projects that apply modern, environmentally friendly technologies in line with sustainable development principles. - Labor Force:
Quang Nam province has an abundant labor force with over 800,000 people of working age, accounting for approximately 54% of the province’s total population. The quality of human resources is constantly improving, effectively meeting the recruitment needs of businesses. The average income of workers currently ranges from 4 to 6 million VND per month.
2. Costs and incentives for land lease in the North Chu Lai Industrial Park
– Infrastructure management and maintenance fee: approximately US$0.25/m²/year (excluding VAT).
– Electricity price: applied according to the price list issued by Quang Nam Provincial Electricity Company at the time of use.
– Water price: calculated according to the notification of the corresponding water supply unit at the time of use.
– Telephone, Internet, and other related service costs: implemented according to the prices of the service providers at the time of use.
Investors implementing projects in the Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park can proactively choose the appropriate investment form, regardless of whether it is domestic or foreign, and will enjoy the highest preferential policies as stipulated for the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.
Regarding corporate income tax: A preferential tax rate of 10% is applied for a period of 15 years; tax exemption for the first 4 years from the date of taxable income generation and a 50% reduction in tax payable for the following 9 years.
Regarding personal income tax: Taxable employees receive a 50% reduction in their tax liability.
Regarding import tax: Businesses are exempt from import tax on goods imported for the purpose of creating fixed assets. Additionally, for the first five years, raw materials, supplies, and semi-finished components that cannot be produced domestically are also exempt from import tax when imported for production.
Other incentives: In addition to the above policies, investors also receive support for land lease, with a full exemption from land rent for the area used to build housing for workers; and support for vocational training as stipulated by the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee and the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board.

Specifically, the industrial park is situated along National Highway 1A and the North-South railway line, and its main internal roads are directly connected to National Highway 1A.
Furthermore, the park is linked to the key route connecting Tam Hiep Port with the Da Nang-Quang Ngai Expressway, enhancing the capacity for goods transportation. In addition, the North Chu Lai Industrial Park borders Provincial Road 617 – a road connecting National Highway 1A to Dak To (Kon Tum), serving as a crucial transportation artery linking the western districts of Quang Nam province, and facilitating the exploitation and transportation of raw materials from this area.

4. Infrastructure system
The North Chu Lai Industrial Park is planned into six main functional zones, including: a service zone; a security zone; a zone for industrial production and warehousing; a green space zone; a transportation zone; and a technical infrastructure zone.
Overview of the North Chu Lai Industrial Zone
Internal transportation system: The infrastructure is complete with a synchronized internal road network, directly connecting to National Highway 1A, facilitating traffic flow and goods transportation.
Electricity supply system: Power is supplied from the national grid via the Ky Hoa 220/110kV substation, consisting of two transformers with a capacity of 40 MVA each, ensuring stable power supply for the entire industrial park.
Water supply system: Clean water is supplied from the Tam Hiep Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of approximately 20,000 m³/day, meeting the needs of continuous use 24/7 and piped directly to the fence of each enterprise. Wastewater treatment system: The industrial park has invested in a centralized wastewater collection and treatment system with a capacity of 1,900 m³/day, put into operation since 2013, ensuring the treatment of all wastewater generated by businesses in the park.
