The My Tho Industrial Park was established by Decision No. 782/TTg dated September 20, 1997, of the Prime Minister and officially commenced operations in 1998. The project covers a total area of 79.14 hectares, with a total investment of over 176 billion VND. The industrial park is planned across two communes: Trung An (My Tho City) and Binh Duc (Chau Thanh District), situated along the Tien River, facilitating trade and goods transportation.

Along with the Trung An Industrial Cluster, the My Tho Industrial Park has contributed to creating jobs for over 7,000 local workers, with an average income of approximately 900,000 VND/person/month. In addition, industrial zones create many indirect job opportunities in sectors such as construction, transportation, material supply, trade, and services.

2. Investment costs and incentives

Infrastructure management and related services are charged at US$0.4/m²/year (excluding VAT).
Electricity prices are calculated according to Decision No. 648/QD-BCT issued on March 20, 2019.
Water supply rates are US$0.46/m³.
Wastewater treatment fees are applied at US$0.36/m³.

My Tho Industrial Park applies a corporate income tax incentive policy for 15 years from the date of revenue generation, with a preferential tax rate of 10%. Specifically:

Tax exemption for 4 years from the date of profit generation.
50% reduction in tax payable for the following 9 years.

The area is situated near important transportation routes such as the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway and National Highway 1A, enhancing regional connectivity.

The road system includes a main axis with 4-6 lanes and internal routes with 2-4 lanes, ensuring smooth traffic flow for both large trucks and container vehicles. The main road is approximately 26-27m wide, while internal routes are approximately 16m wide, with strategically placed median strips and greenery.
Electricity System:
Electricity is supplied from the national power grid via the route along National Highway 1A, managed by Tien Giang Power Company. Businesses can invest in their own 110/22kV transformer substations according to their needs.
Water supply system:
Provided by Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited with a capacity of approximately 5,000 m³/day, fully meeting domestic and industrial needs.
