1. Project overview and legal information

Viet Han Industrial Park is located in Tang Tien, Hong Thai communes and Nenh town, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. The project was officially approved by the Government on June 20, 2008, with the orientation of becoming one of the key industrial parks in the region. Initially, the industrial park was included in the priority development list until 2015, with a plan to expand the area to 200 hectares by 2020. However, at the time of approval for establishment under Decision No. 285/QD-UBND dated February 27, 2009, the initial scale of the industrial park was 101.53 hectares. After that, the area was adjusted and expanded to 197 hectares to meet development needs.

An important milestone was that on February 22, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 225/QD-TTg approving the investment policy for the first phase of the infrastructure development project with a scale of 50 hectares. Next, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province approved the adjustment of the detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2000 on July 14, 2021 and approved the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 on February 14, 2022. These steps affirm the sustainable development orientation and expansion strategy of the industrial park.

The technical infrastructure of Viet Han Industrial Park is invested synchronously and modernly, fully meeting the production and operation needs of enterprises:

  • Internal traffic: The main road axis in the industrial park is 25m to 34m wide, of which the road surface is 15m wide. Internal roads are 13.5m to 22m wide, with a road surface of 7.5m to 12m. Sidewalks on both sides are designed to be spacious, from 6m to 10m, creating favorable conditions for movement and urban landscape.
  • Electricity system: The industrial park is currently supplied with electricity through a 22kV line passing through the area. In the next phase, the power source will be upgraded and supplied through a 110kV/22kV internal transformer station, ensuring a stable and continuous power source for production activities. The 22kV lines are connected to each plot of land.
  • Water supply: Clean water is supplied from the water plant of DNP Water Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, through an underground pipeline system arranged along the Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway. The total water supply capacity is about 35,500 m³/day and night, ensuring full service to the needs of factories in the industrial park.
  • Wastewater treatment: Wastewater from production activities is collected and treated at a centralized wastewater treatment plant, with a capacity of up to 18,000 m³/day and night. The treatment system meets column A standards before discharging into the environment, ensuring strict compliance with environmental protection regulations.
  • Waste management: Solid waste generated in the industrial park is classified, collected and transported to a centralized treatment site in accordance with local regulations.
    Communication system: The telecommunications network is built modernly, supporting multiple services, meeting all domestic and international connection needs of businesses.
    Fire prevention: The fire protection system is systematically arranged with fire booths placed 120-150m apart, ensuring the ability to respond quickly and effectively in case of an incident.
  • Other infrastructure:
