1. Project overview and legal information

Van Trung Industrial Park is part of the overall Van Trung Industrial Park – Urban – Service Park and Golf Course Project in Bac Giang Province, which was approved by the Prime Minister on July 25, 2007. The project has a total scale of up to 960 hectares, of which 500 hectares are reserved for Van Trung Industrial Park. This project is also included in the plan to develop new industrial parks until 2015.

According to Decision No. 223/QD-UBND dated February 18, 2008 of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province, Van Trung Industrial Park was officially established with an initial scale of 433.28 hectares. The project is invested by FuGiang One Member Co., Ltd. – a member of Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Foxconn), Taiwan. Later, due to the need to adjust the planning related to workers’ housing, a part of the land area was returned to the province and the detailed planning was adjusted.

This industrial park has a land use term of 50 years, lasting from 2008 to 2058. The location spans the communes of Van Trung, Tang Tien, Hoang Ninh (Viet Yen district) and Noi Hoang commune (Yen Dung district), bringing great advantages in attracting human resources and connecting trade.

  • Electrical system:
    Van Trung Industrial Park is equipped with an internal transformer station of 110/22kV with a capacity of 4×63 MVA. Power is supplied from the 110kV power grid running along National Highway 1A, ensuring a stable and continuous power supply for the entire industrial park.
  • Water supply system:
    Water is supplied from Bac Giang Water Plant combined with treated underground water. The total water supply capacity is about 18,300 m³/day and night, ensuring to meet the production and living needs in the industrial park.
  • Wastewater treatment system:
    Wastewater generated from production activities is collected and treated at a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 9,300 m³/day and night (applied to both sub-areas). The treated wastewater meets column B standards before being discharged into the environment.
  • Telecommunications system:
    Van Trung Industrial Park is covered by a modern digital telecommunications network, integrating ADSL services, fiber optic cable… thanks to cooperation with major network operators such as VNPT, Viettel, meeting the connection and data transmission needs of enterprises.
  • Fire prevention and fighting:
    Fire hydrant systems are arranged along the roads with a distance of 150m between hydrants, ensuring the ability to respond quickly when an incident occurs.
  • Other infrastructure facilities:
    • Ground leveling height: from +4.3m to +5.1m, ensuring natural drainage.
    • Rainwater drainage system: completely separated from the wastewater treatment system, helping to improve drainage efficiency and protect the environment.
    • Lighting system: using modern LED lights, 10m high lamp posts, arranged 38m apart, installed with underground cable system to ensure aesthetics and safety.
