The Go Dau Industrial Park was established by Decision No. 662/TTg dated October 18, 1995, of the Prime Minister, with an initial scale of 330 hectares (excluding the area of Vedan Vietnam Industrial Company located outside the industrial park boundary).
Subsequently, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province made a partial adjustment to the detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/2,000 in Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district. According to the adjusted plan, the industrial park area was changed from 210 hectares to 182.3761 hectares.

Go Dau Industrial Park is the only industrial park with a comprehensively invested in internal port system capable of receiving ships with a tonnage of up to 30,000 DWT. This gives the industrial park a significant advantage in waterborne cargo transportation, and its proximity to natural gas sources from the Ba Ria – Vung Tau region creates favorable conditions for energy-intensive industries.

2. Costs and investment incentives for Go Dau Industrial Park
Current water prices: Applied according to the price list published by the water supply unit (details can be found at dowaco.vn).
Electricity prices: Implemented according to Decision No. 4495/QD-BCT dated November 30, 2017 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the current electricity selling price schedule.
Wastewater treatment fee (excluding VAT): 7,282 VND/m³ (approximately 0.32 USD/m³).
Businesses operating in the Go Dau Industrial Park are subject to investment incentives, including a two-year exemption from corporate income tax (CIT) and a 50% reduction in tax payable for the following four years, as stipulated in Decree 218/2013/ND-CP.

- Wastewater Treatment System: The wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 500 m³/day, applying a combination of biological and physicochemical technologies. The treated water meets the standards of QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT (column A) before being discharged into the environment.
- Communication System: The telecommunications infrastructure is fully developed, supporting services such as telephone, fax, and high-speed internet (ADSL). An automated telephone exchange with 960 numbers and international connectivity via a 40-channel VIBA network ensures uninterrupted communication for the enterprise.
