The Ong Keo Industrial Park is located within the future Nhon Trach urban development plan, adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City and possessing significant transportation advantages, especially waterways. This location is ideal for industries, construction, and services requiring on-site port facilities.
The project is situated next to the Long Tau River and has been planned by the Ministry of Transport with a dedicated port system capable of receiving vessels from 10,000 to 30,000 tons, along with a general cargo port serving vessels of similar tonnage. The industrial park’s leased land area is approximately 535.3 hectares, accounting for 65% of the total area. Notably, the Ong Keo Industrial Park is only about 400 meters from Ong Keo Port – a port primarily serving the transportation of coal by waterway from Indonesia, Australia, and many other countries, with a cargo throughput of nearly 9.5 million tons per year.
